I encourage Realtors® all the time to create long but targeted keyword lists for use in honing their real estate SEO efforts. This keyword list is critical, because it provides a great starting point for your regular blogging routine, whether that's daily, weekly, or (gasp) monthly. Don't just blog randomly about whatever comes to your head. It only makes sense to blog with a purpose by focusing like a laser on the keywords that you want to rank well for. I help my clients create these targeted keyword lists, of course, but they often ask me how I come up with a list of hundreds of words for each site. Do I do it all by hand? Up until now, I did my keyword compilation using an Excel spreadsheet with formulas putting together keyword variations combined with city names, state names and abbreviations, etc. I actually provided an Excel spreadsheet to readers of my Real Estate Marketing Tips Newsletter recently, and got a quick lesson that everyone doesn't use Excel formulas every day like I do! Questions started pouring in, and I knew I had to give my readers something much easier. Don't misunderstand...I love Excel...but I went ahead and created a handy Real Estate Keyword Tool to make life easier on non-technical folks. It's very simple:
Bammo! You'll be presented with a list of up to 1587 real estate keywords using your state name, state abbreviation, and the local information you entered. It's extremely easy to paste your new real estate keywords into your SEO software! |
